Job summary

SeeAbility is seeking a Sessional Optometrist to contribute to our Special Schools Eye Care Team in London. You will visit designated schools during term time, delivering specialist eye care with autonomy and expert judgment. Training will be provided to ensure high standards and compliance with safeguarding and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Autonomous clinical role delivering eye care to children with complex needs.
• Term-time only visits to the same schools.
• Full training provided on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist eye care in line with NHS England Service Specifications.
• Manage independent caseload with evidence-based practice.
• Make complex clinical decisions and refer to ophthalmology/orthoptists as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and reports.
