Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for a role at a SEN school in Horley. The position runs term-time only with hours 8:30–16:30, Monday to Friday, starting in September. You will provide personal care to pupils aged 5–16 and support ASD needs.

Essentials include Enhanced DBS, 3–6 months’ experience in similar roles, GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C, and a driving license with access to a car due to the campus location. Sponsorship or VISA not considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar roles (3–6 months) in education or care settings.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Ability to perform personal care for ages 5–16.
• Full driving licence and access to a car due to campus location.
• Understanding of autism and ASD needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for pupils aged 5–16.
• Support students during general daily activities and learning tasks.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work within SEN framework and school policies.
• Assist with transport and mobility if required due to campus location.
