Job summary

Northampton High School is seeking an experienced, reliable driver to transport passengers on set routes and occasionally support school trips. You will perform pre-journey checks, maintain a courteous manner, and follow traffic laws and safety policies.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, excellent time-keeping, and a professional attitude. Term-time only, 23 hours/week, with shifts across mornings and late afternoons.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
• Be excellent at time-keeping, reliable, patient, calm and professional.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely collection and drop-off of passengers on set routes.
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks (PCV) on the Vectare app.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all passengers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
