Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a reliable Premises Assistant for a Greenwich primary school, with term time hours plus some holiday weeks and an ASAP start. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12:00pm–4:00pm, paying £14.50–£16.50 per hour PAYE.

Prior premises or maintenance experience is desirable, with DBS on Update Service preferred. The successful candidate will help run a safe and welcoming school site, perform routine checks, assist with deliveries, and work closely with staff to maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in premises, caretaker, facilities or maintenance role desirable.
• Good practical DIY and maintenance skills.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks around the school.
• Ensure the premises remain safe, secure and well presented.
• Support with room setups and school events.
• Complete routine health and safety checks.
• Monitor site security and report any concerns promptly.
• Assist with deliveries and the movement of equipment.
• Work closely with school staff to maintain high standards across the site.
