Job summary

Sodexo Group at Hagley High School in Stourbridge is hiring a General Kitchen Assistant. You will support day-to-day catering operations, help prepare and serve food, and keep kitchens and dining areas clean and well maintained.

This role offers 15 hours per week during term time (38 weeks), with a pay of £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday 10:00am–1:00pm. Permanent, part-time contract with training provided and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable attitude.

• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors
