Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting School Catering Assistants in Skegness for term-time support in school kitchens. Roles run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with the potential for variation in hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or school kitchen environments is beneficial.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with food hygiene standards and practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, setting up, and serving of meals in line with food hygiene regulations
• Clean kitchen equipment and dining furniture as required in designated areas
• Assist with the moving and setting up of dining furniture in designated areas
• Undertake cashier duties and operate a cash register
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and COSHH regulations
• Support equal opportunities in the workplace for diverse service users
• Undertake duties as directed by the School Catering Manager
