Job summary

David Nieper Academy in England is seeking a part-time cleaner to support daily cleaning tasks after the school day, under the direction of the Senior Cleaner and Site Manager. You will help maintain the appearance of buildings and surrounding areas to the standards set by the academy.

Hours are Tue-Thu 3pm-6pm and Mon/Fri 2:30pm-5:30pm, term-time plus inset days (39 weeks) with some additional holiday cover for external lettings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the appropriate supervisor to include: Mop sweeping; Single solution mopping; Buffing; Spray cleaning; Damp wiping; Waste disposal; Cleaning of toilet facilities and related tasks to achieve high cleanliness; Cleaning of fixtures and fittings; Use of cleaning equipment and machinery; Safe use of chemicals and equipment per health and safety policies.
