Job summary

Norton Road Primary School is seeking a cleaner to maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment across the building during term time. The role covers the hall, classrooms and staff areas, with shifts on weekday evenings from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Additional days may be arranged by the premises manager.

Applicants must have an enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available. Experience in cleaning is welcomed, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload within timeframes.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy the whole school building including hall, classrooms and staff areas.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for pupils and staff.
• Work term time for 10 hours a week, plus up to 8 extra days as arranged by the premises manager.
