Job summary

Caterlink in Wantage is hiring a Catering Assistant for Wantage Primary, Newbury Street, Oxfordshire. The role covers a variety of food production tasks along with school meal service, working term-time only with no weekends.

You will be paid £12.71 per hour, 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, with a strong focus on health and safety, cleanliness, and friendly, efficient service to pupils and staff. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
