Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant to be based at Wade Deakin High School in Widnes, Cheshire, performing a range of food production tasks and serving meals in the school environment.

The position is term-time only with no weekend work, offering 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour. A DBS check will be obtained, and Caterlink emphasizes safeguarding and a positive, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or catering environments is desirable.
• Ability to follow health and safety standards in a kitchen setting.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals to students, cleaning dinner hall, washing up & general kitchen duties
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
