Job summary

Caterlink is hiring for a Catering Assistant in Telford 6th form to perform food production and service in schools. This term-time only role offers 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across 36 weeks per year, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

The role focuses on food preparation, maintaining hygiene, and delivering friendly service while upholding the Caterlink brand. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing food and serving customers in a school/education setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to food service.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks.
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state.
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image.
