Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Catering Assistant for Sawston Village College in Cambridge. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm, 30 hours per week during term time, delivering friendly, hygienic service and assisting with food prep.

You’ll serve customers, operate the till, keep kitchens and dining areas clean, and contribute to a positive dining experience for staff and students. We value excellent customer service and a team spirit.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in catering or retail preferred.
• Willingness to work in a school catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
