Job summary

Caterlink is recruiting a Catering Assistant to work at Lavenham Primary School and Acton Primary School. This term-time only role covers food production, service on tills, and general cleaning, with no weekends.

Position details include £12.71 per hour, 10 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 11:30am–1:30pm), and 39 weeks per year. Driving licence is required and an enhanced DBS check will be obtained.

Qualifications

• Term-time only base with no weekend work.
• Experience in school or catering service is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced school environment.

Responsibilities

• Working at both Acton Primary School and Lavenham Primary School.
• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food.
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state.
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all students and school staff.
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image.
