Job summary

Impact Food Group is a leading school food provider in England, serving around one million students daily across more than 1,500 schools. We are seeking a Catering Assistant at Stobhillgate First School, Morpeth (NE61 2HA).

The role runs Monday to Friday, 11:30am-2pm (12.5 hours/week), 38 weeks/year, term-time only. You’ll join the catering team to provide friendly, efficient service, assist with food preparation, serve customers at the counter, and keep areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff.
• Assist in preparing snacks and food for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and safe.
