Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a term-time only Nursery Practitioner to work in a nursery in Bloxwich, near Walsall, starting in September. You will provide care and support to young children and work with the classroom team.

Ideal candidates have Level 2/3 Childcare, nursery experience, great communication, patience, and empathy. This role requires flexibility and commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare (or ratio equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a Nursery.
• Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Knowledge of relevant teaching methodologies and resources for supporting individual students.
• Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role are desirable but not essential.
