Job summary

Sutton High Prep School is seeking a friendly Lunchtime Supervisor to join our term-time team. This part-time role (6-12 hours per week) is permanent, with a pro rata salary from £3,680 to £7,721 per annum.

The duties include supervising pupils in the dining room, playground and classroom, helping with lunch service, and clearing tables. A patient, team‑minded approach with young children is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of and enjoyment in working with young children.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instruction.
• Reliable, punctual and able to supervise pupils during lunch and play.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining room, playground and classroom as needed.
• Assist with serving lunch and supervising table clearances.
• Provide a friendly and safe environment during lunch and breaks.
