Job summary

Steel City Schools Partnership is seeking a Mid-day Supervisor to support lunchtime activities at Woolmer Hill School. The role runs 1.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year during term-time, providing a safe, structured environment for children.

The successful candidate will be reliable, versatile and enjoy working with children, with responsibility for supervising lunchtimes in playground, classroom and dining room, and helping foster positive lunchtime play and good table

Qualifications

• Be reliable, versatile and enjoy working with children.
• Must be enthusiastic, a team player and able to build good relationships with children.
• Contribute to development of a positive approach to lunchtime play.
• Encourage children to practise appropriate table manners and maintain a calm atmosphere in the dining room whilst eating.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and engaging children in activities over the lunchtime period.
• Supervise the children at lunchtimes in the playground, classroom and dining room.
• Contribute to the development of a positive lunchtime play environment.
