Job summary

Oasis Academy Pinewood is seeking a friendly and proactive midday assistant to join our team. The role is term-time, 6.25 hours per week (1 hour 15 minutes per day, Monday to Friday) and involves supporting children outdoors and in the dining hall during lunch.

You will need energy, positivity and a passion for helping children to thrive. A term-time contract runs until 22 July 2027 with potential renewal for the right candidate, and an enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial.
• Energetic, positive and communicative.
• Able to work well in a team and follow school policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunch and help maintain a safe, happy dining environment.
• Support outdoor play and learning activities in the school grounds.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils and staff to promote wellbeing.
