A leading MEICA specialist in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical biased Tendering Engineer to prepare tenders and estimates, and work closely with clients and engineering teams in the water treatment sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in the Process Industry. Job Overview

An Mechanically biased Tendering Engineer is needed to join a leading MEICA specialist that primarily focuses on the water treatment sector, delivering a range of projects and capital works frameworks across the UK.

Company Relationships

The company have long established relationships with the likes of Severn Trent Water, Southern Water, Wessex Water & Thames Water and are one of their “go to” specialists for M&E and Instrumentation works.

Scope

The company can deliver the full project scope to include M&E design, installation & commissioning .

Responsibilities
  • Working with a range of Principle Contractors & clients you will be preparing robust tenders and estimates.
  • In some cases you may be required to undertake site surveys to get a better understanding of the clients requirements, before preparing proposals.
  • The role is a varied one, requiring an individual with strong communication skills who enjoys partnering with clients & engineering teams to develop & cost engineering solutions.
  • With a Mechanical qualification the successful candidate will have worked within the Process Industry, ideally Water and will be capable of developing and preparing robust estimates and proposals.
