Temporary Works Structural Engineer

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (HP6)

Salary: £38,000-£45,000

Job Description

Medium‑sized civil and structural buildings design consultancy based near HP6 is seeking additional structural engineering staff to join their Temporary Works Team.

Project types include larger RC‑framed residential and commercial developments, often multi‑storey, for which the firm offers both temporary and permanent works design. The role will involve:

  • Basement tower crane base designs and ties
  • Design of piling platforms
  • Enabling works and hoist bases
  • Assessment of temporary loads on structures
Qualifications
  • Several years of relevant buildings design and temporary works experience
  • Live within sensible commuting distance and no visa requirement
