Murphy is recruiting for a Temporary Works - Design Engineer to work with Murphy Applied Engineering based out of our Scotland office.

Our engineering teams represent a multi-disciplined range of engineering skills, adding value across all sectors, and pushing the boundaries of digital construction, engineering innovation, and design to deliver intelligent, sustainable, and economical engineering solutions.

You will provide safe, economic, and constructible solutions within project timeframes for the company’s Business Units, delivering across sectors including transportation, water, energy, and power.

A day in the life of a Murphy Temporary Works Design Engineer
  • Undertaking engineering designs on a wide range of temporary works schemes across Murphy projects.
  • Representing the MAE team in collaborative project meetings.
  • Conducting site visits when appropriate.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to produce the best engineered solutions to temporary works problems.
