First People Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-established consulting engineer as they expand their Civil & Structural Engineering team. We’re seeking a Temporary Works Engineer to join their fast-paced and dynamic group, contributing to a diverse range of projects across the civil engineering industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 2+ years of industry experience who is eager to develop professionally and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality temporary works designs
  • Maintain strong communication with project managers and clients
  • Manage workload across multiple projects
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Attend site when required to support clients and develop solutions
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or a relevant discipline)
  • Working towards IEng or CEng
  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience in temporary works or structural design
  • Strong technical knowledge of BS5975 and Eurocodes
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site when required
