Thurnby Mead Primary Academy in Leicester is seeking a proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team for a fixed-term period to the end of the 26-27 academic year. The role runs 30 hours per week, 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, with pro-rata salary around £18,634–£18,931 per annum.

We value commitment to removing barriers to learning, teamwork and flexibility to adapt to changing needs, with a preference for SEMH and SEND experience.

Qualifications

• Be committed to removing barriers to learning (alongside the team).
• Be organised and efficient with a sense of humour.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Preferably have SEMH and SEND experience.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils to remove barriers to learning alongside the teaching team.
• Assist the class teacher and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Support individual or small groups to access learning activities.
