Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking flexible (temporary) Forklift Drivers to support Royal Mail during the Christmas period. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload, move parcels, and maintain safety and efficiency in a busy Parcel Hub.

Ideal candidates hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR counterbalance licence, have FLT/warehouse experience, and can lift mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg. Shifts include morning, afternoon and night with enhanced rates on certain periods.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence issued by RTITB or ITSSAR.
• Previous FLT driving and warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg.
• Comfortable standing/walking for long periods.
• Reliable, flexible and safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trailers with mail and parcels.
• Transport materials to storage areas, sorting machines, and loading docks.
• Stack and organise pallets and cages in designated areas.
• Complete pre-use checks and report faults or damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily targets.
