Job summary

A leading art institution is looking for a Temporary Kitchen Washer to assist in a school kitchen from 15th to 18th Dec. Responsibilities include washing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be reliable, and possess a DBS. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to work as part of a team. Qualifications

• DBS required.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling modest lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment using manual and automatic washing methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and equipment.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Operate dish-washing machinery safely.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Support the catering team during busy periods.
• Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
