A dynamic manufacturing firm in Cambridge is seeking a full-time temporary member for their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electromechanical assembly, programming, and production testing. Although the role is temporary, there is potential for it to extend or become permanent. Commitment to quality and flexibility in task execution are essential, along with a willingness to learn. No formal qualifications are required, but reading and interpreting specifications is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medium volume electromechanical manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret information and specifications required for the role.
• Good dexterity for carrying out tasks.

• Conduct electromechanical assembly.
• Perform programming and production testing.

Job description

We are looking for a full-time, temporary member of the manufacturing team with responsibility for tasks including electromechanical assembly, programming and production test. Although this role is temporary it has the potential to extend and may become permanent. We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working in a medium volume electromechanical manufacturing environment is advantageous
• No formal qualifications are required but you must be able to read and interpret information and specifications required to perform your job
• GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English would be advantageous
• On the job training will be provided
