Job summary

Fashion & Retail Personnel is assisting a world-renowned luxury retailer to recruit an experienced planner for a temporary period of about 8 weeks at our London head office.

The role concentrates on detailed analysis of retail and wholesale sales and margins, category and pricing reviews, and demand planning to maximise profitability and align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Providing detailed, methodical analysis of retail and wholesale sales and margin information
• Undertaking key category and divisional analysis to improve productivity and profitability
• Analyzing competitor pricing policies to inform range planning
• Assisting in creating a balanced product assortment aligned with strategy and financial goals by reviewing global sales performance
• Identifying and escalating business risks and opportunities to maximise sales and profitability
• Communicating assortment objectives through analysis and timely reporting
• Reviewing end-of-season actuals against cost estimates for new-season kickoff
• Participating in setting global retail prices based on market research, analysis, history, and cost data
• Assisting with in-season re-orders, replenishment orders and pre-season demand planning

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing detailed and methodical analysis of retail and wholesale sales & margin information
• Undertaking key category and divisional analysis to improve productivity and profitability
• Analysing key competitor pricing policies to inform the range planning process
• Assisting in the creation of a balanced product assortment that is aligned with business strategy and financial goals by reviewing global sales performance
• Identifying and escalating business risks and opportunities to maximise sales and profitability
• Communicating assortment objectives through effective analysis and timely reporting
• Reviewing end-of-season actuals to cost estimates for commencement of new season
• Participating in setting the retail prices for the global line based on market research, analysis, history and cost info
• Assisting in all strategic opportunities for in-season re-orders, replenishment orders and assist in pre-season demand planning
