Overview

A wonderful opportunity to join a warm and welcoming family in a quaint Cotswolds village near Shipston-on-Stour. The family seeks a nanny who can work confidently and collaboratively with the mother whilst also being happy to be in sole charge when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work exclusively with the two‑year‑old daughter during the eldest son’s school hours, supporting her through an age‑appropriate routine including play dates, walks, local outings, classes, and creative activities at home.
• Maintain organisation of the children’s bedrooms, bathroom, and playroom, manage laundry and belongings.
• Assist with cooking and basic meal preparation where desired.
• Support the five‑year‑old boy who enjoys football, music, horse‑riding, cycling, and scooting around the village, and the younger sister who enjoys puzzles, trampoline, hide‑and‑seek, small‑world play and arts and crafts.
• Provide babysitting by prior arrangement.
• Utilise the family’s Soho Farmhouse membership for outings during school holidays.

Requirements

• Experience as a nanny in a similar role.
• Own car and willingness to drive.
• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate, 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate and at least two professional referees (one current or former employer).
• Strong communication and cooperative working style with the mother.

Location and Hours

Shipston on Stour, Cotswolds. 8 hours a day with flexibility in start time, finishing later on some days. Monday‑Thursday. Salary: £22 gross per hour. Temporary position. Start ASAP.
