HR professional (Employee Relations Focus) £24phr

Remote - 35 hours per week (must be able to attend meetings as required) Immediate temporary role for around 6 months - Flexible Working -Fully remote

Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about employee relations and making a real difference in people's working lives?

My client, a leading national housing and support provider, is looking for a People Partner to join their small, collaborative People Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive HR professional to work in a purpose-driven organisation that genuinely values its people.

You’ll play a key role in supporting managers across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and coach on all people-related matters. With a strong focus on employee relations, you’ll help create a fair, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that aligns with the organisation’s mission and values.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Advising managers on employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
  • Supporting change initiatives such as restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes.
  • Coaching and upskilling managers to handle people matters confidently.
  • Updating and implementing HR policies in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Producing reports and analysing HR data to support decision-making.
  • Supporting Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and HR projects across the organisation.
What Experience You Require
  • HR experience 3 years plus with up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Solid HR generalist experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • CIPD qualified Level 5 minimum.
  • Excellent communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for in‑person meetings.
