Express Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Housing Complaints Investigator to join their Local Authority team, they’s based at Kirkby in Ashfield, supporting the investigation and resolution of complaints across a variety of housing service areas.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all complaints are handled fairly, efficiently and in line with the Housing Ombudsman Service’s Complaint Handling Code and the Council’s own procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the social housing sector who is passionate about improving services and achieving positive outcomes for residents, and is looking to start a new role immediately.

  • Collate and review information relating to housing complaints
  • Acknowledging complaints in writing in a timely and professional manner
  • Supporting with the drafting of complaint responses and investigation notes
  • Ensuring all complaints are managed in line with relevant policies, procedures, and statutory guidance
  • Supporting the preparation of complaint information for submission to the Housing Ombudsman Service
  • Assisting with the implementation of learning outcomes, recommendations and orders arising from complaint investigations
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all complaints and investigation

Vacancy Summary
