Ynysboeth Community Primary School Temporary Family Engagement Officer Hours: 20 hours per week (Term time only) Salary: Grade 6, £28,142 x 47.48% Start Date: The appointment will commence to start as soon as possible. Ynysboeth Community Primary School is looking to recruit an inspirational Family Engagement Officer to work as a member of our team.
The post holder must be willing to work with pupils and families throughout the school.
The successful candidate will: Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills | Have proven experience and ability to establish and foster strong relationships with parents/carers | Undertake formal inspections of school registers and have experience of SIMS/Bromcom | Work closely with external agencies linked to attendance, health and wellbeing and previous experience of working within a school and knowledge of multi-agency working is essential | Have a good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures | Be committed to our school’s Vision and Values

This role includes attending meetings both with school staff and external agencies regarding the welfare and safeguarding of our pupils, acting as lead professional when required.
They will manage and monitor any referrals to outside agencies ensuring that accurate records are kept and signpost our families/carers/staff to support agencies.
