Care & Repair Monmouthshire and Torfaen are looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual to join our well‑established and friendly team. This is a temporary position running until 31 March 2026. Extension beyond this date may be possible depending on organisational requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to gain administration experience in a professional environment. We welcome applicants with limited experience, provided you can demonstrate a positive, can‑do attitude, the ability to learn quickly, and a willingness to hit the ground running.

The role is 35 hours per week and offers a mix of office‑based and home working, agreed with the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to front‑line staff
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining accurate records using our organisational database
  • Answering calls and responding to queries
  • Minute‑taking
  • Processing invoices
  • Liaising with clients, family members, contractors, health and social care professionals, and partner organisations
  • Using Microsoft Office 365
  • Issuing letters and surveys via digital post systems
  • Issuing work orders to contractors and in‑house adaptations operatives
What we’re looking for:

A hardworking, customer‑focused team player with excellent communication skills who can work flexibly, use their own initiative, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You must be highly computer‑literate, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be confident in learning new systems quickly.

This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll join a small, supportive team, with a line manager who is available to guide and support you. We will listen to you, give you clarity and direction, and ensure you feel included and valued.
