Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is seeking reliable Cat C drivers for a nationwide bathroom supplier client with a new regional hub in Basingstoke serving London, Reading, Brighton, and more. Roles include deliveries to client stores and client sites; temp-to-perm with interviews before start.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, securing loads, loading/unloading pallets with pallet jack provided, and maintaining vehicles clean inside and out. You will work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license, category C.
• No major driving offences / disqualifications at any time.
• Demonstrable experience of driving a range of goods vehicles, including 3500kg long-wheelbase panel vans.
• Ability to re-route around unanticipated delays and use initiative.
• Basic IT knowledge with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Outlook / Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily vehicle checks.
• Check the load is suitably secured.
• Loading and unloading of equipment from vehicles (loads are usually on pallets with pallet jack provided).
• Maintain the company vehicles in a clean and presentable condition, internally and externally at all times.
