Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Planner to support a large process plant in a temporary ongoing role. The position requires immediate availability and offers an excellent hourly rate across the South Ayrshire, Moray, North East Highlands or Dundee regions in Scotland.

The planner will balance customer requirements with site capabilities, coordinating WIP, materials, and transport, and collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Finance to keep the site running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven production planning experience in process/manufacturing environments.
• Experience coordinating across Operations, Maintenance, Stores, Finance and other teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing demand and supply conditions.
• Availability for immediate start or short notice

Responsibilities

• Ensure production plans are achievable operationally, logistically and financially.
• Manage WIP planning and coordinate material and feedstock needs.
• Coordinate transport requirements and ensure transport compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Stores to balance customer needs with site capability.
• Monitor and adjust plans in response to demand, plant availability or feedstock supply.
• Contribute to problem countermeasure activities related to planning performance.
• Work with Operations, Business Development and Finance to align objectives.
