Job Description
  • Ensure purchase invoices & credit card purchases are appropriately coded, authorised and processed
  • Manage Aged Creditors and key supplier accounts including supplier statement reconciliations, resolving payment/processing queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain & update supplier accounts
  • Credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Manage Finance email account, responding to queries efficiently to maintain good relationship with suppliers and staff
  • Input payments into the online banking system, and process payment runs in the online banking system to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and on time
  • Assist with month end procedures and year end routines, nominal Ledger postings and reconciliations
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the post as requested and agreed
The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Previous experience working within a school
  • Available immediately
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools and advanced excel skills
  • AAT qualified or working towards.
What's on Offer
  • Hourly pay rate between £13.00 and £16.00.
