Job Description
- Ensure purchase invoices & credit card purchases are appropriately coded, authorised and processed
- Manage Aged Creditors and key supplier accounts including supplier statement reconciliations, resolving payment/processing queries in a timely manner
- Maintain & update supplier accounts
- Credit card and bank reconciliations
- Manage Finance email account, responding to queries efficiently to maintain good relationship with suppliers and staff
- Input payments into the online banking system, and process payment runs in the online banking system to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and on time
- Assist with month end procedures and year end routines, nominal Ledger postings and reconciliations
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the post as requested and agreed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Previous experience working within a school
- Available immediately
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools and advanced excel skills
- AAT qualified or working towards.
