Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is recruiting for a Logistics Driver on a 6-month fixed-term contract in the United Kingdom. The role involves 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with AM and PM shifts and a focus on courteous client interactions as deliveries and collections are handled for consumables and samples.

The successful candidate will operate temperature-controlled vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and comply with safety and company training requirements.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence.
• Working knowledge of delivery and collection operations within a temperature-controlled environment.
• Delivery and collection operations.

Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work tasks allocated by the Logistics Team leaders.
• Ensuring the vehicle you operate is safe for the road daily.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Report issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Report any vehicle defects to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Complete all tasks on worksheets via the digital work management platform.
• Present a professional image by wearing the provided uniform.
• Ensure equipment at customer drop-off locations is in date and working; feedback issues.
• Keep customer drop-off locations clean and free from rubbish.
• Complete all company training.
• Respond to reasonable requests.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and raise safety concerns.
