Job description

Temenos Transact (T24) SQL Server Developer and Database Administrator (DBA) required by an International Bank based in the City of London paying circa 60k, it is Office Based, you will be part of a team of 4. Ideally you will have indepth knowledge of the Temenos Transact (T24) data structure and the ability to develop and administer Microsoft SQL Server administration, and performance tuning, with a strong ability to work independently and translate business requirements into robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.

Gather, analyse, and interpret user requirements to design and deliver effective database solutions with minimal supervision.

Administer, monitor, and optimise SQL Server environments, ensuring availability, performance, and security.

Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Support application teams in integrating and accessing data efficiently.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, and query optimisation.

Create and maintain technical documentation for database systems and processes.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity and solution alignment.
