Job summary

VidiVet is seeking a Teletriage Veterinary Surgeon for flexible, remote work in the UK or worldwide. The role focuses on triage support, not prescribing or diagnosing, with short 2-3 hour blocks and a self-employed contractor setup.

You will need UK RCVS practising status, at least 5 years in small animal practice, indemnity insurance, a smartphone under 3 years, and a monthly salary paid at £20 per hour. Full training and a 24/7 digitally managed rota support the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in small animal clinical practice.
• UK resident or have right to work in the UK.
• Have your own indemnity insurance with adequate cover.
• Self-employed contractor arrangement and fully remote work.
• Smartphone <3 years old.

About you:

We are looking for veterinary surgeons who are outstanding communicators and seeking a part-time, flexible, working arrangement. If you want to join an award winning tech start up who truly keeps the vet practice at the centre of a pet owners triage experience, then this position is for you!

We will only ever ask you to triage, and will never ask you to prescribe or diagnose(that is the job of our practice colleagues!).

• Be a UK resident or have a right to work in the UK
• Have a UK practising status with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in small animal clinical practiceHave your own indemnity insurance with adequate cover (we are still happy to talk to vets that do not have this)
• Have a smartphone <3 years old
• £20 per hour paid on a regular date each month
