Business Development Executive (Apprenticeships / WBL)

Key Duties
  • Utilising telesales, networking and social media to proactively identify and engage with businesses, to promote our client’s portfolio of services (Apprenticeships / professional learning solutions).
  • Respond to inbound and outbound enquiries, in a timely manner.
  • Researching new markets and businesses, speaking with key decision makers, identifying opportunities for the field‑based sales team.
  • Manage own daily output using our client’s internal CRM system.
  • Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
  • Work to achieve and exceed agreed weekly / monthly KPI’s.
Essential Criteria
  • Must have experience of working within a business-to-business or lead generation role, ideally within the work‑based learning industry (though this is not essential).
  • Experience of working towards and achieving targets / KPI’s.
  • Confident with, and have experience in using CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident, friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to overcome objections.
