Job description
General purpose of role :

A lead generator is a calling role who is tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities for the business through outbound calling.

Key Accountabilities :
  • Research leads generated by the networkers that have been placed on the database.
  • Make telephone contact with these leads to qualify, and if appropriate make appointments for the sales team.
  • Manage the future prospect bank by keeping the database up to date.
  • Ensure that the architecture of the database is updated and observed.
  • Put appointment packs together in the Area Sq format for the sales team prior to client visits.
  • Build relationships with the networkers and sales teams to gain feedback post appointments, and update the database with notes and diarise any future actions.
  • Attend weekly internal review meetings to discuss ‘hot lists’.
Professional Skills & Experience :
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships, both face to face and remotely.
  • Basic telesales training a must (open, investigate, qualify & close).
  • Proven track record of making sales appointments.
  • Database experience essential, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
