Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking an experienced Telehandler driver for site duties. You will transport materials to worksites, ensure safe operation of plant, and liaise with the Site Manager to meet demanding construction schedules.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Telehandler license with construction site experience, a Blue CPCS Card (or equivalent), and may have a Truss Placement certification. Training and safe-work leadership will be provided to support continuous site safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Telehandler Driver with construction site experience.
• Driving License (essential).
• Blue CPCS Card (or equivalent, authorised by Head of Health and Safety).
• Truss Placement and Training certificate preferred; training provided to update/confirm experience.
• Attend additional training as required by statute or company.
• Role involves working at heights and use of small hand tools as directed by the Site Manager.
• Generous holiday entitlement of 26 days per annum + bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist in ensuring the correct materials are provided at the right time to the right workplace in a safe and efficient manner.
• Liaise with the Site Manager to confirm work demands are met for subcontractors.
• Ensure plant under your control is properly serviced; report repairs, breakdowns, incidents or deficiencies to the Site Manager.
• Act as a General Site Labourer when the truck is not required or breakdowns occur to support the development.
• Report to the Site Manager any careless use of company materials by subcontractors and non-compliance with safety attire.
• Monitor waste segregation on site and notify the Site Manager of non-compliance by subcontractors.
