Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking a certified Telehandler Driver to join our on-site team. You will transport materials around the site safely, ensuring the right items reach the correct location on time.

You will hold a Blue CPCS Card and a valid driving licence, with willingness to undertake required training. The role involves working at heights and using basic hand tools as directed by the Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Certified Telehandler Driver with construction site experience.
• Driving License (essential).
• Hold a current and valid Blue CPCS Card. Other cards may be acceptable if authorised by Head of Health and Safety.
• Attend additional training as required by statute or company policy.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist in ensuring the correct materials are provided at the right time to the right workplace safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the needs of sub-contractors are handled efficiently.
• Regularly liaise with the Site Manager to confirm work demands are met.
• Ensure that the plant under your control is properly serviced.
• Report repairs, breakdowns, incidents or deficiencies in the plant to the Site Manager.
• Act as General Site Labourer when truck not required or breakdowns occur.
