Job summary

Hays Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a major national construction contractor for a Telehandler Operator to join a busy housing development in Exeter. You will operate a telehandler on site, load and distribute materials, and support logistics while adhering to site safety procedures.

Required: valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket and prior experience on housing sites. High availability, full PPE and a reliable attitude are essential for this temporary/ongoing role with competitive pay

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket is essential.
• Experience on housing developments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler safely and efficiently on site.
• Load, unload and distribute materials to trades.
• Support site logistics and ensure materials are available where needed.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects.
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
