Job summary

Skilled Careers are looking for a Telehandler on a temporary basis in Birmingham to start on Monday 21/09/2026 for 1 week on a commercial site. You will operate telehandlers to lift and move materials, ensuring safe loading and liaising with site managers to meet project timelines.

The successful candidate will have Blue CPCS/NPORS, prior site experience, good timekeeping, and own PPE, with references available on request.

Qualifications

• Blue CPCS/NPORS certification or equivalent is required.
• Previous site experience on construction sites is essential.
• Good timekeeping and reliability are expected.
• References available on request.
• Own PPE must be provided by the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandlers to transport materials and equipment around the construction site
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials from lorries and other vehicles
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with site managers and other workers to coordinate material handling tasks effectively
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Assist in the operation of excavators when required, demonstrating versatility in machinery operation
