Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Telehandler (with medical) for a housing site in Ashington, Northumberland. You will handle telehandler operations safely and efficiently on site.

The role is a temporary contract for 6 months with an ASAP start, paying a competitive CIS/PAYE/Umbrella rate of £23 per hour. CPCS or NPORS and a valid driving licence are required, plus a fit-to-work medical.

Randstad offers ongoing work and access to training through its training department.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS certification required.
• Fit to work medical is required.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Operating a telehandler in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
• Moving materials, tools, and equipment quickly and accurately.
• Inspecting work areas daily to ensure safety and proper working order.
• Following specific health and safety procedures when operating the telehandler.
• Monitoring operation of the machine, and reporting any faults or needed repairs
