Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd in Abbey Wood is seeking a Telescopic Forklift Driver for a long-term temporary role on a residential/commercial construction site. You will operate the forklift safely, move building materials and assist trades on site.

The role requires a CPCS or NPORS card, full PPE, and valid ID/Passport. Pay is £19 per hour PAYE Umbrella with weekly payroll and dedicated support from the team.

Qualifications

• Operate the forklift safely on site.
• Experience on Residential/Commercial construction projects.
• Hold CPCS or NPORS qualification and wear full PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move building materials around the site.
• Unload deliveries on site and near the site compound.
• Assist trades and subcontractors with lifts and material movement.
• Follow site management instructions and health & safety standards.
• Inspect equipment and communicate with trades and traffic marshals.

Telescopic Forklift Driver

£19 p/h

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
• Move building materials around the site
• Carry out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
• Support trades and subcontractors on with lifts and the moving of their materials
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Operate the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly check and inspect your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
• Co-operate and communicate with all trades, appointed banksperson and the allocated traffic Marshall on site
• Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards

Requirements and experience levels

• Must be hard working and driven
• Experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
• Valid ID/Passport
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
• CPCS or NPORS Card
