Job summary

Corrie Recruitment Limited is seeking a Telehandler for a short-term assignment in Caithness. Start ASAP with 2–4 weeks duration and hours from Monday to Thursday 7am–6pm, Friday shift options. The role involves lifting, loading, and supporting on-site trades with strict health and safety practices.

Local candidates with a valid CPCS Telehandler ticket and housing/construction site experience are preferred. Accommodation may be available, and rates are negotiable.

Qualifications

• Previous telehandler experience on housing or construction sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.

Job Title: Telehandler

Location: Caithness

Duration: 2 - 4 Weeks

Rate: Negotiable

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 6pm, Friday 7am - 2pm (non - working weekend) or Friday 7am - 5pm (working weekend).

Working every second weekend next on is 17th & 18th October.

We are looking for a local telehandler operator for our client based in Caithness.

Responsibilities

• Operate a telescopic forklift (telehandler) safely and efficiently on a busy site.
• Load, unload and distribute materials to trades across the site.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and work areas remain tidy.
• Assist with general site duties if required
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS Telehandler ticket (essential).
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on housing or construction sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
