Job summary

Bridgeman Recruitment (Agency) is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a busy new build housing development in Preston. You will safely operate the telehandler, load and distribute materials, and support deliveries on site.

Applicants must hold a CPCS Blue/Red or NPORS Telehandler ticket, have full PPE, and demonstrate strong health and safety awareness. Reliable, punctual candidates with checkable references are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• CPCS Blue/Red or NPORS Telehandler ticket is required.
• Previous experience on new build housing sites is preferred.
• Full PPE supplied and required on site.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Reliable and punctual with good references.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a telehandler on a live housing development.
• Load, unload and distribute building materials to site trades.
• Assist with deliveries and ensure materials are placed correctly.
• Carry out daily pre-start machine inspections and report defects.
• Support site operations with general duties as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Comply with site health & safety procedures and company policies.

Bridgeman Recruitment (Agency) are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a busy new build housing development in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established residential contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a telehandler on a live housing development.
• Load, unload and distribute building materials to site trades.
• Assist with deliveries and ensure materials are placed in the correct locations.
• Carry out daily pre-start machine inspections and report any defects.
• Support site operations by assisting with general duties when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Comply with all site health & safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS Blue/Red or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Previous experience working on new build housing sites.
• Full PPE.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Checkable work references.
