Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Multiskilled Climbing PPM Engineer to maintain telecoms sites across the network. The role is field-based around Watford, requiring travel and outdoor site work, often at height.

You will perform planned maintenance, inspections and minor fabric repairs, contributing to safe, reliable infrastructure. Ideal candidates are comfortable at height, collaborative, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working at height and willing to travel.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication.
• Willingness to join an on-call rota.
• Engineer-minded with practical problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Must pass a medical assessment and health checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on telecoms sites.
• Climb structures and work safely at height.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair telecoms equipment and site infrastructure.
• Perform general fabric repairs: locks, fencing, cabins, doors, hinges, closures, minor structural work.
• Work as part of a team to deliver work efficiently and safely.
• Participate in an on-call rota to support operations.
• Record and report work completed in accurate logs.
