Job summary

Pro Search UK is seeking a Telecoms Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer to join our field operations. The role involves completing fibre installations, overhead/underground work, and surveying or repairing orders, with full training provided and ongoing support during daily activities.

Induction takes place at national training centres, and candidates should have a UK driving licence (up to six points) and prior FTTP/fibre experience.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Experience in FTTP / Fibre / FTTH.

Responsibilities

• Complete fibre installations.
• Perform overhead and underground work.
• Carry out fibre surveying and repair orders.
• Receive training and ongoing support in the role.
• Site inspections and traffic management where required.
• Respond to customer requests and inquiries professionally.

• Telecoms fibre engineer will be working from a rate card, If you work hard and put in the effort there is no cap on their earnings.

Job Description of Telecoms Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer :

• Completing Fibre Installations
• Overhead / Underground jobs
• Completing Fibre Surveying / Repairing Orders
• You will be given full and continuous training in this role, and support throughout your working day.
• Site Inspection Evaluations Including, Traffic Management to be conducted
• Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries

Key Requirements of Telecoms Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer :

• Full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points on.
• Previous FTTP / Fibre / FTTH experience

Induction for Telecoms Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer :

• If you are successful in your application, you first day of engagement will be at one of our national training centres to complete your induction into the job role.
